Rates & Insurance

Rates

Rates for Kimberly Parker, LPC, LCDC include$275 per 50 minutes (individual); $300 per 50 minutes (families and couples)

Why are the rates varied?

Rates are determined by licensure status, experience, certifications and trainings.

What’s the difference between an LPC, LPC-Associate, LMSW and Counseling Student?

Engaged in practicum and internship experiences, while working to earn a master’s degree? LPC, LPC Associate, and LMSW.

Earned a master’s degree in Counseling or a related field? LPC, LPC Associate, and LMSW.

Earned a provisional license after graduation. LPC, LPC Associate,  and LMSW.

Completed 3,000 hours of supervised clinical hours (with a licensed supervisor)? LPC.

Working towards 3,000 of supervised clinical hours? LPC Associate and LMSW.

Super cool fact about LPC’s: Once fully licensed, we still consult with other professionals to ensure that you are getting the BEST care.

Super cool fact about LPC Associates and LMSW’s: Not only are they licensed professionals, but they are seeking consult from their direct supervisor (at work) and designated supervisor (LPC-S or LCSW-S). This means you have 2-3 people dedicated to making sure that you get the BEST care.

Super cool fact about Counseling Students: They have supervisors within their master’s program and an on-site supervisor (Kimberly Parker, LPC, LCDC) at this practice. This means you have 2-3 people dedicated to making sure that you get the BEST care. Additionally, due to them being counselors-in-training, they can offer an affordable rate, making care accessible for most!

Insurance

Currently, I accept BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Optum, and Lyra. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does my plan cover telehealth and in office visits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

Clients are required to keep a credit/debit card on file. The card on file will be charged after each session. Additionally, clients are required to submit copies of a photo ID and insurance card.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
