Just a few questions:
- Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed and like things are out of your control in your day to day life?
- Have you been feeling like you do not have the means to cope with your problems?
- Are you having negative or distressing thoughts that consume your every waking minute?
- Does your mental suffering seem so big that you do not even know how to begin healing?
- Have you felt that no one around you cares for you and you see no reason to carry on?
- Are you struggling to get through daily routines and daily life?
- Do you feel stuck in unhealthy patterns and are unsure how to change them?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, take a deep breath and exhale. You are in the right place and you are not the only one who has ever felt this way. Walking through life’s adversity and hardships can be so difficult but it does not have to be done alone- I’m so glad you’re here.
More About Your Therapist:
I am a graduate student intern working towards my masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have an interest in working with teenagers and young adults. This time period in one’s life is full of transitions and unknowns. It can be overwhelming and scary at times. It is my wish to help and work alongside you during this time. I strive to create a safe space where you can be yourself, be comfortable and talk freely. Judgment does not exist here.
I have lived in Texas all of my life. Outside of school and work, I love spending time with my family, friends and my English bulldog named Maui. I enjoy reading books, traveling, baking sweet treats, watching movies and going on runs. Becoming a counselor has been a lifelong dream of mine and something I take very seriously.
Beginning your therapy journey can be intimidating but it is the first step towards a life that is functional and fulfilling. Which is something everyone deserves.
