Perinatal Mental Health Counseling

  • Has conceiving been a struggle?
  • Has your pregnancy triggered past trauma?
  • Was your birthing experience traumatic?
  • Do you feel unable to help your partner adjust to the changes a new baby brings?

Perinatal mental health refers to the emotional health of an expectant individual during their pregnancy and postpartum period. Perinatal counseling supports the expectant parent and their partner through their journey to parenthood. It also offers emotional support and treatment for individuals who are experiencing infertility, complications due to pregnancy, perinatal loss, birth trauma, NICU admission, adjusting to parenthood, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The life-changing impact of having a child is not only for first-time parents, but veteran parents, partners, and families alike. Allow us to offer you the support in navigating your mental health.

Services are offered to anybody struggling with infertility and/or who identify as a parent.
